Orthognathic Surgeries and Obstructive sleep apnea

Bi Jaw surgeries are routinely undertaken to improve the overall esthetic appearance of the face along with improved airway in case of patients suffering from obstructive sleep apnea and not complying with the CPAP machines commercially available in the market.

These surgeries are planned with team of doctors and undertaken in a hospital setup. Patients have to be hospitalized for two to three days maximum, including surgical day and then they can go back home to recuperate completely. These are relatively safe and predictable surgical procedures when performed by an experienced surgical team.
